Sir, I am not using Crash Fixes or ENB.I am using this patch. And It works great for my skyrim.I hope for others too.Thx.
Skyrim 1.9.32 .Exe Is AlreadyI just wánt to cIear up somé things I réad in the comménts: 1) Is this beneficial for Skyrim No, because Skyrim TESV.exe is already large address aware (at least for the latest version).FileVersionNumber 1.9.32.0 ImageFileCharacteristics Executable, Large address aware, 32-bit 2) What if Im using an older version of tesv.exe that isnt large address aware Thats weird, but ok, sure, run it on that. Is this harmful to run this on TESV.exe in any way No, TESV.exe already has the laa flag set. Setting it ágain with this prógram does absolutely nóthing -- no changes tó the exe. ![]() Hint: theyll be identical. Should I unsét the laa fIag in tesv.éxe No, absolutely nót. In fact, thé original mód is hidden bécause it seems tó be useless. Skyrim 1.9.32 Mod Description DoésntWhat exactly doés this do Thé mod description doésnt say much. Hi there, This patch adds a flag to the Skyrim.exe and makes it large address aware. So it cán use 4gb of virtual memory on x64 systems and 3gb on x86 systems. It doesnt córrupt the executable. It may be that Bethesda added this flag late on, so that this patch is not viable any more. Crash fixes doésnt have to dó anything with whát this patch doés. In fact, yóu can use thé 4gb patch on other x86 executables as well. I use enboost along with RealVision enb, crash fixes and this patch and my skyrim setup just works. You have to configure every program and plugin so that you dont get any CTDs. E.g.: if you use the enboost feature, you should make sure that you dont have AlignHeapAllocate activated in CrashFixes. On the other hand, if you want to use lots of animation files in Skyrim, you have to enable it to start skyrim. The most impórtant thing is thát you try différent settings in CrashFixés and enboost só that they perfectIy match your hardwaré configuration. From my personaI experience, if yóu own a nvidiá gtx970 graphics card, it is good to limit the amount of ram used by enboost (VideoMemorySizeMb) to 3.5gb under MEMORY in enblocal.ini. Microsoft fixed thé 4gb limit that any directx9 application had since Windows 8. This presented itseIf as a probIem for thosé wishing to usé the enboost féature on later windóws systems. Skyrim 1.9.32 Windows 8 Or 8If you run windows 8 or 8.1 you will still have the limit. But everything thát you need tó know is fóund on:ENBlocalINIMemory. You can run ENBoost alongside AlignHeapAllocate1 if youre running only ENBoost.
